‘Unknown Market Wizards – The best traders you’ve never heard of’ หนังสือเล่มใหม่ของ Jack Schwager เพิ่งวางแผงเมื่อ 3 พ.ย. 2020
ผมอ่านจบแล้วเลยมารีวิวข้อคิด + จดตัวอย่างมาให้ดูบางส่วนครับ
ความรู้สึกหลังอ่านเล่มนี้ไปซักพักคือ ‘อินดี้ สดใหม่ดี’ ให้อารมณ์แตกต่างจาก Market Wizards เล่มก่อนๆพอสมควร
เพราะในเล่มก่อนจะเป็นการสัมภาษน์เทรดเดอร์รุ่นบุกเบิก หรือช่วงยุคทองของระบบ trend following
ทำให้ภาพรวมมุมมองแนวคิดของแต่ละคนดูค่อนข้างไปในทางเดียวกัน
สิ่งที่ Unknown Market Wizards ต่างกับเล่มก่อนๆคือ พอตลาดเข้าสู่ยุคเทคโนโลยีเต็มตัว ที่การเข้าถึงข้อมูลข่าวสารทำได้อย่างรวดเร็ว
รวมถึงการที่คนมีความรู้มากขึ้น ทั้งการดูพื้นฐานและการใช้กราฟ , ตลาดที่ Algo-HFT มีอิทธิพลกับราคาสูงเรื่อยๆ ฯลฯ
ก็มีผลทำให้ตลาดตอนนี้แตกต่างกับสมัยที่เทรดเดอร์รุ่นเก๋าใน Market Wizards ชุดแรกเทรดกันมาพอสมควร
ดังนั้น สิ่งที่เราจะได้เห็นจากหนังสือเล่มนี้คือ ‘ความหลากหลายในแนวคิด’ และตัวอย่างการปรับตัวของเทรดเดอร์ ที่ต้องใช้ความยืดหยุ่น ลองคิดนอกกรอบและสร้างสรรค์
การทำความเข้าใจ theme/context ในแต่ละช่วงของตลาด ประกอบกับการอ่านจิตวิทยามวลชน (mass) ก็สามารถช่วยเรื่องปรับพอร์ตและคัดหุ้นให้เข้ากับสถานการณ์มากขึ้น
และการที่เซียนแต่ละคนก็จะมีแนวคิดเฉพาะตัว (niche) เป็นของตัวเอง
หรือถ้าอ่านคนที่เทรดมา 20-30 ปี เราก็จะได้เห็นการปรับเปลี่ยนบางอย่างในระบบของเขา หรืออาจจะทิ้งระบบเดิมและสร้างระบบใหม่ขึ้นมาเลยด้วย
เพราะเป็นเรื่องปกติที่พอเล่นหุ้นไปนานๆหลายปี ระบบของเราก็มักจะมีเหตุผลบางอย่างที่ต้องปรับเปลี่ยน
ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเพราะสภาพแวดล้อมของตลาด หรือจากตัวเราเองก็ตาม
ซึ่งหัวข้อเหล่านี้ส่วนตัวผมเองก็มองว่า จะเป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆในตลาดยุคต่อไปด้วยครับ
ตัวอย่างสไตล์ที่น่าสนใจจากหนังสือก็เช่น
- บางคนไม่ดูกราฟ , ไม่ดูงบ , แต่เน้นดูกระแสใน social และเทรนด์การจับจ่ายสินค้า ว่าในช่วงนั้นสินค้า-บริการอะไรกำลังมาแรง (hot product & service) แล้วไปดูว่าราคาหุ้นสะท้อนแล้วหรือยัง
- บางคนเล่น day trade แค่ช่วงงบออกเท่านั้น (ตลาดเมกา) ไม่ถือหุ้นข้ามคืน เทรด full time แบบนี้มาแล้ว 14 ปี
- บางคนเน้นเฉพาะหุ้นที่กราฟเพิ่งกลับตัวจากแนวโน้มขาลง และเริ่มจะ turnaround โดยใช้ความได้เปรียบจากการเป็น first mover ร่วมกับการทำวิจัยหาข้อมูลพื้นฐานอย่างละเอียด
- บางคนก็เปลี่ยนจากสายกราฟไปสายพื้นฐานเต็มตัว
แนวคิดใหม่ๆเหล่านี้ ทำให้พวกเขาทำผลตอบแทนได้ดี สม่ำเสมอ ทำให้ได้รับการสัมภาษน์ลงหนังสือเล่มนี้
โดยรวมถือว่าเป็นหนังสืออีกเล่มที่คนเล่นหุ้นควรซื้อ อ่านสนุกและได้ข้อคิดหลายอย่างไม่แพ้ Market Wizards เล่มก่อนๆเลย
